Not long ago Jana told us how things went for her with Jumping Fitness after she opened her own gym. This time Anja from Salzwedel tells you her Jumping Fitness success story.
How did you hear about Jumping Fitness?
I heard about Jumping Fitness through the internet. One evening I was browsing YouTube for current Zumba choreographies and discovered this video with the trampolines.
Why did you decide to take your Jumping Fitness instructor licence?
After hearing about this sport online and finding that just watching it would not let me sit still, I immediately looked for a class so I could try it myself. From that day on I knew that this was exactly what I wanted to do in future. Since there was no provider anywhere near me, I had to come up with something. Everyone should get to know this new and incredibly good sport. So I had no choice but to take it all into my own hands and get the instructor licence, so that I could infect everyone here with the Jumping fever too.
How did things go for you after the training?
After the training I first went round the studios, but they did not want to make that investment on such short notice. So I took care of it on my own. I rented a class room at the life line in Salzwedel and financed everything myself. I started with two classes a week and 10 trampolines. Even though I was convinced by the concept, I still had my doubts. What if it does not work out? But really I was sure that others would enjoy it as much as I do, and I was proved right. By now I teach three classes a week and have had to buy more trampolines to keep up with the demand.
What has Jumping Fitness changed for you personally?
My physical fitness has improved enormously, from endurance through to building muscle. Another essential point is the positive influence on emotional wellbeing. However stressful a day has been, after a Jumping session I am balanced, cheerful and have a clear head. Jumping has become the new centre of my life. And on top of that it is amplified by my participants, who give exactly the same feedback.
How have your customers taken to Jumping Fitness?
Very well. When I consider that I have footballers, endurance runners, dancers, strength athletes and even people who normally avoid sport in my classes, the range is very broad. I have never heard of another sport that appeals to such a large group. Of course there is always someone now and again who does not take to Jumping, but on average 95 per cent of the newcomers come back.
How do you see your own future with Jumping Fitness?
I will of course teach many more classes and try to grow together with my participants. A life without Jumping no longer exists for me.
What do you think about the development of Jumping Fitness in general?
Jumping is the new sport that can win anyone over. The whole concept is superb. It is not just strength training, dancing or endurance, it simply includes everything. That is exactly the recipe for its success. Jumping is spreading like a fever. Once you are infected, you infect the next person, and so on. And I think the success so far is only the beginning.
Thank you, dear Anja, for your time and for this insight into your life with Jumping Fitness. We wish you continued joy and success on your way.
