How often should you exercise per week?
This is probably the most frequently asked question.
To which you usually get the answer: three times a week is perfect.
Do I go to Jumping Fitness three times?
If you feel like it, then of course you’re welcome.
And the weight loss effect will definitely be enormous.
Of course, you can also organize your sports week with different types of sport.
As we operate in the fitness industry, we focus here on other course concepts and functional training.
What is functional training?
Here is the general definition:
Functional training is a form of training that is relevant to everyday life and cross-sport. It involves complex movement sequences that strain several joints and muscle groups simultaneously.
For my functional training, I go to the Ignite Fit personal fitness studio on Husemannstraße in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
Here you are also under direct supervision in the 6-person courses and don’t have to worry about doing the exercises incorrectly and thus making the training counterproductive for your body.
I start and try out all the classes offered there to decide for myself which training I would like to do in addition to Jumping Fitness.
As I always like to listen to my body, I follow the signals it gives me, it gives me.
So I work my way from H.I.I.T. to mobility training to kettlebell to TRX.
In the end, I decide on kettlebell training.
Why do I choose it?
I notice that the training has a perfect and supportive effect on my jumping fitness training.
Kettlebell training particularly strengthens and stabilizes my core, which I use in Jumping Fitness to keep control of the trampoline and avoid being thrown around uncontrollably by the equipment.
Of course, you can also transfer kettlebell training perfectly to everyday life by carrying heavy shopping bags.
It is important to remember that the aim of kettlebell training is to build functional strength and stability. In short, I achieve a high level of all-round fitness, increase my stamina, flexibility and coordination and improve my body control.
It’s a free weight workout, so I target whole muscle groups during the exercises, but I alsoI also learn how to concentrate partially on muscles that are not so important in jumping fitness, such as the arm muscles.
At the moment I’m still actively involved in kettlebell technique training.
On the one hand, because I attach great importance to technique, and on the other, because correct technique is essential for this training.
I also keep a moderate heart rate during technique training, while I focus on my cardiovascular system when jumping.
So I combine both concepts alternately and enjoy challenging and promoting my fitness on one day and my strength on the other.
You can find out more about kettlebell training from the real professionals, for example at Ignite Fit.
I’m going to try flossing there at the end of the week. And I’m curious.
For those who say that they only want to do jumping during the week, we at Jumping Fitness have now also developed the Jumping Fitness Interval concept.

Here, fitness training is mixed or harmonized with strengthening exercises in order to work on and with the body even more effectively.
You’ll get a real-life experience report on this soon. In this blog too, of course.
But now the question for you.
Which training would you choose?
Or have you already made up your mind?
