We love jumping fitness and work on our passion with a lot of motivation and creativity. We are inspired by the positive feedback we receive from all sides – both from trainers and hard-working participants. We are often asked how to continue after training as a jumping trainer. What opportunities there are for the new trainers. So we don’t want to withhold these impressions and little success stories from you.

More than 2 years ago, Jana from Bamberg decided to become a jumping trainer. We are delighted that she took the time to answer a few questions about her experiences with Jumping Fitness.

How did you hear about Jumping Fitness?

In 2014, I attended FIBO in Cologne because I was no longer satisfied with my previous course license and wanted to learn something new so that I could possibly offer courses. The trampolines quickly aroused my interest and when I tried them out, I was immediately impressed.

Why did you decide to become a jumping fitness trainer?

After my meniscus tear, I was somewhat restricted for a long time, but I had no problems on the trampoline. I also saw great potential in offering Jumping Fitness in my region in the future. I had tried a lot of things up to that point, but the demand didn’t last long because many participants found step sequences too difficult, for example, or their individual physical fitness wasn’t good enough. Jumping fitness is suitable for everyone, whether woman or man, old or young, and weight problems are irrelevant. The basic steps and techniques are easy to learn and everyone can determine their own intensity. And although there are only a limited number of basic steps that you learn in training, there are no limits to creativity and the possibilities for variation.

What has Jumping Fitness changed for you personally?

My stamina improved after a very short time. I have also lost a lot of weight and my body is firmer and more defined. Compared to other endurance sports, I also find jumping fitness incredibly fun, any everyday stress quickly disappears and I still look forward to teaching a class every time.

How have your customers taken to Jumping Fitness?

After I opened my studio in September 2014, I was immediately curious, but still very skeptical. But after a short time all the courses were full and in the meantime I have hired two more trainers and my mom has also done the jumping training to meet the high demand. The majority of course participants register directly for the next course and the feedback is always positive.

How do you personally see the future of jumping fitness?

I’m thinking about opening another studio or renting a gym to enable even more people to take part in the courses, because there are currently very long waiting lists, even after I increased the number of trampolines again.

What do you think about the development of jumping fitness in general?

Compared to other sports, especially group fitness classes, jumping has not yet reached a peak in my opinion, but is constantly on the rise. I think that this will remain the case for a long time and that jumping can establish itself as a joint-friendly and, above all, effective alternative to endurance sports such as jogging or cycling.

Thank you very much, dear Jana! We wish you continued success and, above all, lots of fun jumping :)
