How quickly a month passes and here, as promised, are our next music suggestions for you. That was a tough nut to crack this time. After two weeks of merciless listening, 44 songs were left over, from which a further strict selection was made. We’re still sorry about some of the pieces and we try to keep as few as possible from you, but we don’t want to go beyond the scope and this month, unfortunately, there only seemed to be “either or”.
This means that, on the one hand, there are many “smooth” titles and, on the other, some that sweep along with quite a lot of “oomph”. Since there is enough of both at some point, there are now 18 left and we hope that you will find some nice pieces that you can incorporate into your jumping fitness class.
So there’s plenty to stomp to in the chilly month of February, but also lots of warm-up songs. Or songs that you can use quite well in the first third of your lesson.
Playlist February 2017
For the mobilization including warm-up, a few songs have played themselves into our ears and hearts this time.
We found Mad about you by Koni and Danelle very nice for a gentle start. Soft, not so fast but with a catchy beat, the song can lead you into your jumping fitness lesson in an upbeat mood.
Permanent guests in our playlists are Alle Farben. This time with Bad Ideas. Definitely not a “bad idea” for warming up, we think.
Next up for us is the warm-up with the scream factor. Or is it just us in the office because we are the “right” year? Joking aside, decide for yourself. Here come the Backstreet Boys with I want it that way- Anstandslos&Durchgeknallt Remix . The remix doesn’t come to an end so quickly, but you can still bounce around a little longer on rose-colored boy memories. And that’s fun.
We admit that Millionaire from Digital Farm Animals feat. Nelly achieved. We are actually torn here. But somehow we think that some people will like the song and it will definitely get its chance to appear in a Jumping Fitness lesson.
Dynamite from Nause feat. Pretty Sister. This title is not clearly typical of Jumping, but it works fantastically and we tested it out all last week as a warm-up.
We really like Feel by Mahmut Orhan and Sena Sener. It’s something different and the mix is absolutely successful.
But now it’s getting faster
We pick up the pace a little with Girls Like by Tinie Tempah feat. Zara Larsson. But watch out, you have to come up with something nice at the end of the song. There is a break and the song ends a lot slower in the last verse. Maybe something to quickly add a little toning or a balance exercise.
You’ll find a “straighter” beat in Anywhere by Dillon Francis and Will Heard. The song is very catchy and has a tendency to become a catchy tune.
Anyone who has been missing a real tempo like this will now get their money’s worth. Gangnam Style was yesterday. Tunak Tunak Tun (Remix) by TODIEFOR and Daler Mehndi makes us think of lots of skipping and running mixed with nasty squats. But we don’t want to take ideas away from you, perhaps the title will inspire you to do something completely different.

Power, strength, stomping
We’ve already made the leap away from the smooth songs, so let’s stick with that and devote ourselves to the slightly harder beats. Ah yeah so what from Will Sparks, Wiley and Elen Levon come riding in and immediately ramp up the intensity of the hour.
But you don’t want to overdo it, so we’ve added a well-mixed song with highs and lows to the playlist. Into the light by Sick Individuals and Dbstf comes with a melodious verse and a nice chorus.
The next piece of music is from around the same time as our Backstreet Boys original song. Of course, it has also been redone, but with a clear recognition value. We simply couldn’t get past I like to move it by Nicola Fasano and the Miami Rockets. And now we’re really “moving” to it.
Without compromise, the next song starts with an outstanding stomping part directly after the intro.
Gangsta by Moguai and Benny Benassi then gives the listener the opportunity to take a breather. You can really use them to let off steam with the two parts with a harder beat that are still to come.
Going Crazy. Without words, right? We willingly follow the title of the new song by Hardwell and BlasterJaxx and give it our all. Whoop Whoop !
As already announced, we’ve packed a few more tracks of this kind and continue with BANG BOOM by Tommie Sunshine and Krunk! Before you get to the actual power part, you have a little time to get yourself and your body in the mood. The song is also not that long and can be used as a great transition between two stomping parts, we think.
This brings us to our personal favorite. 4:56 minutes of power with a part to specifically strengthen something again, or well, of course, to go into a balance exercise. However, we tested Barricade by Axwell in class with a built-in toning part and it went down really well. Especially because it goes on power for quite a while at the beginning of the title. So beautiful.
And the second transition comes “almost” as a surprise, so that your participants will be really happy once again, because all their reserves are activated once more.
You made it!
Cool Down
For this we bring Ed Sheeran with Shape of You into the classroom and create the necessary cheerful and relaxed atmosphere when we have all given our all.
If you can’t listen to Ed anymore, you can also try You gotta not by Little Mix. A fixed cool-down choreo should perhaps be devised for this. The beat is not always so straightforward. But the song sounds like a lot of fun at the end. And in our view, it rounds things off perfectly.
And another hour has passed.
Once again, all songs were tested in the radio edit or original mix. Unless we have explicitly written “remix” after the title.
We hope you enjoy listening and trying them out again. We are also keeping our fingers crossed that we come across more diverse music material for the month of March. We are already on the lookout.
